Original title12 dni na Lesbos
One year after the peak of the refugee crisis, two journalists attempted to portray the people living on the island of Lesbos: refugees, volunteers and indigenous islanders. They tried to capture the drama of this unique place. They created a reportage broadcast directly from the island using the Snapchat application for Gazeta Wyborcza. First Polish snap-film was selected and combined from short recordings published every day.
Lesbos is the third largest Greek island, a historical place that has become the epicenter of the refugee crisis. About 86 thousand residents live there. In 2015 more than 847 thousand came to Greece. They were refugees and migrants fleeing the war and looking for a better life. More than half of them came to Lesbos.
